Hi! I’m Tiffany!

the founder of Brushes and Braids. I began my career at the Aveda Institute and stepped straight into the world of weddings—where I instantly knew I had found my place.

I launched Brushes and Braids in 2019, and what started as a passion quickly grew into a team dedicated to effortless, elevated bridal beauty. My work has taken me from Western North Carolina to destination weddings across Arizona, Colorado, Rhode Island, Vermont and Florida.

When I’m not with my brides, you’ll find me working alongside my team at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, styling VIP and Platinum guests and soaking in the kind of creative energy that keeps me inspired.

At the end of the day, I’m here to make sure you feel like the best version of yourself—calm, confident, and glowing from the inside out.

Rachael

  • I’m a licensed hair and makeup artist with over 14 years in the beauty industry. I recently made the move from Florida to the mountains, and I’ve truly fallen in love with life here. 

    I’m just as passionate about people as I am about my craft. I’ve never met a stranger, and creating a space where everyone feels comfortable, seen, and welcomed is at the heart of what I do. 

    For me, it’s all about creating a personalized experience that allows each client to see themselves the way everyone else does—confident, radiant, and completely themselves. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, being in the mountains, tending to my garden, and traveling whenever I can. I hope that through both my work and my connections, I’m able to make a meaningful difference in the world.

Whitley

  • Hi, I’m Whitley, your go-to for effortless glam and good energy on your wedding day.

    I’ve been working in bridal hair and makeup since 2017, with experience in fashion editorials and bridal shows that have shaped my eye for both timeless and elevated looks. I met Tiffany in 2019, and our shared love for beauty, creativity, and adventure quickly turned into both a friendship and my role as one of the first artists on the Brushes and Braids team.

    I love any excuse to travel, whether it’s a local celebration or a destination weekend. Each June, I work the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, where the creativity and energy continue to inspire my work alongside an incredible team.

    From preview to final touches, I focus on creating a calm, fun experience where every detail feels just right. I’m all about enhancing natural beauty with a soft, polished finish; keeping things relaxed, a little glam, and completely true to you.

    For me, it’s not just about hair and makeup, it’s about making sure you feel confident, radiant, and fully present for a day you’ll never forget.

Sydnee

  • I’m Sydnee, a Florida native with a lifelong love for beauty, creativity, and helping people feel confident in their own skin. Growing up in South Florida sparked my passion for makeup, and over the past five years I’ve turned that passion into a career I truly love.

    For me, makeup is more than just glam, it’s about enhancing your natural beauty, creating a personalized experience, and helping you feel like the best version of yourself. I love connecting with my clients and making sure everyone who sits in my chair feels comfortable, confident, and absolutely glowing

  • Hi! I’m Molly, and I’ve been working with Brushes and Braids since 2023. Helping brides feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. My goal is always to create timeless hair and makeup looks that feel effortless, natural, and true to each bride’s personal style. I love creating a calm, fun, and uplifting getting-ready experience where brides can fully relax, soak in every moment, and feel their absolute best. 

    It’s such an honor to be trusted with such an important part of the day, and I’m so grateful to celebrate alongside each bride I work with!

  • I’m Cate, the administrative assistant behind the scenes at Brushes and Braids. I’m an Asheville native (a true unicorn) and have spent the last 7 years in the wedding industry—starting in bartending and coordinating before finding my place on the beauty side.

    I’m married to my husband Ian and a proud mom to my two girls, Hayleigh and Cambry. I truly love love, all things weddings, and making sure every detail feels seamless from the very first email.

  • Hi, I’m Erin! i fell in love with the excitement, energy, and joy that surrounds a wedding day, and I feel so lucky to be part of such meaningful moments. My favorite part is that first look in the mirror, when you see your hair and makeup come together and truly feel like a bride.

    My goal is always to help you feel like the most elevated, confident, and authentic version of yourself. Still you, just with a little extra bridal magic!

    When I’m not spending wedding mornings with my brides, you can find me riding my horse, chasing after my two-year-old, or teaching a spin class

  • Originally from sunny Florida, I bring a little bit of that laid back, beachy vibe to every wedding morning. Over the years of doing hair I’ve fallen in love with creating soft, romantic styles that feel effortless, elevated, and completely you.

    I’m all about hair that looks amazing and lasts because your style should hold up through happy tears, hugs, and a packed dance floor. From loose waves to modern updos and everything in between, I love collaborating to create a look that fits your vision and personality perfectly.

    Wedding mornings should feel fun, relaxed, and full of good energy, and that’s exactly what I aim to bring. Think of me as your hype girl with a curling iron, here to make sure you feel confident, beautiful, and ready to soak in every moment of your day.

Kirsten

  • Hi, I’m Kirsten! My love for all things beauty inspired me to go to cosmetology school, and I graduated in 2020. I began cutting & coloring hair in-salon, but knew my passion was bridal hair styling & makeup, so I dove into the bridal industry excited and eager to learn. 

    My career focus shifted in 2025 when I welcomed my first baby, and I stepped away from my salon chair, and into my proud role as a stay at home Mom. I’m so grateful to be able to pour myself into raising my daughter & taking care of my family. This change has also allowed me to enjoy my time with brides even more, and keeps my creativity fresh.

    When I’m not helping brides and their families feel their best, you can find me covered in dirt in the garden, making macrame, or singing on the worship team at my church.

    I love that this industry has introduced me to people from so many different backgrounds and walks of life, and it’s always an honor to be involved in such a special day in their lives.

  • Hi, I’m Katie!

    With over 10 years of bridal beauty experience, I bring both expertise and excitement to every wedding day. I love being part of such a special moment and helping my brides feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.

    In addition to my bridal work, I represent several cosmetic brands, working directly with company executives to host events, educate clients, and showcase professional product lines. Whether you want to chat skincare, makeup, hair, or life in general, I’m always happy to connect!

    I’m passionate about continuing my education and regularly attend advanced trainings with nationally recognized makeup artists to stay current on the latest techniques, trends, and best practices.

  • I’m Alexandria, and I’ve been in the beauty industry for the past 9 years specializing in hair and makeup with a focus on creating refined, personalized looks that still feel effortlessly like you. During the week, you can usually find me behind the salon chair doing color, cuts, extensions, and treatments, while weekends often take me into the world of weddings, fashion shows, and photoshoots. Each experience has shaped my eye for detail and my calm, polished approach to every setting.

    One of my favorite parts of this industry is the people I get to meet along the way. I love hearing your stories, connecting with new faces, and being part of such meaningful moments in your lives.
